What does your organisation do?

We build AI software to control and operate quantum computers. This includes the low level pulse control of qubits (analogous to a bit in a classical computer), all the way to a natural language interface for quantum computers. We're unique in that we believe that AI agents will be the majority users of quantum computers in the future - not human beings. Therefore, it is imperative that we build the infrastructure and guardrails such that AI uses quantum computers for good, not for evil. We define quantum superintelligence as an agent or a being that uses a quantum computer to have capabilities which surpass humankind's greatest minds.

Why did you choose to build in Oxfordshire?

We're Oxford alumni. PhD in Natalia Ares Group.

What big problem are you trying to solve?

Quantum computers will allow us to simulate nature at its most fundamental level. But, they are difficult to control, and hard for people (and AI) to use. It is important that we use AI to help control quantum chips so they perform calculations reliably, and we provide an interface that is easy for AI agents and human beings to use quantum computers to their full capacity.
