What does your organisation do?
Neya is building a new kind of neighbourhood infrastructure that makes it easy for people to find and join local community life. Through a simple chatbot and app, neighbours can discover and join local groups, ask for and offer help, and connect with trusted local businesses. Our goal is to make strong local communities easier to access in modern life, where technology has made many things easier except knowing the people around us.
Why did you choose to build in Oxfordshire?
I moved here with my family. We're building for our own community first.
What big problem are you trying to solve?
Everything in life has got easier in the last 20 years except connecting with the people, groups and businesses around you. It matters because when neighbourhoods are connected, people are happier, healthier, live longer and economies thrive.
